Hi,
I have wanted to join the One World One Heart, since it started. I am not the greatest blogger in the world I sort of forget to blog often so my blog isn't as active as it should be. This is a wonderful event, and I am going to try to jump in and get my feet wet this time.
I sew for a local furniture company, I also make lampwork beads as a hobby in my spare time.
We have been working on our house the past couple months to do some improvements. This summer we had my nephew come to live with us, for a while until he goes into the Army. He is excited about getting out on his on and being his own man. I hope he does well and is able to take what they teach him and make a life for himself.
For this event, I am going to put a set of lampwork beads that are handmade by me for the door prize, I will draw a number from a bowl I really don't have a hat to draw from. LOL My drawing will end on Feb 17th and I will email the winner and post who won on my blog. I will anounce a winner on Feb 17 in the evening after I get home from work, some time around 6 pm eastern time.
I hope to get to see all the Wonderful Blogs this year, and hope to have visits from people all over the world to my blog.
Sandra

Oh, your beads are lovely! Glad you joined in the OWOH event! Visit me at #123 when you get time!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful beads you make. I was saddened to read about your fingers. Burns are so awful and seem to take forever to heal. I am glad that they are now getting better.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of your cat. The snow must be pretty hard. We have had 20 inches of snow in the past week and another 3 today. Your cat would definitely sink in this stuff. I've watched poor little squirrels go down, but they do seem to come back out, just not always in the same spot they went down!!
Enjoy the event.
I love lampwork beads... I've tried making them and wasn't very good. Bifocals and goggles don't really help! Please enter me your drawing!
